Founded in 2008, Else is a Hong Kong based design practice offering Master Planning, Architectural and Interior Design services with its main focus in the region of China and South-east Asia.
Our work combines possibilities and choices with design character, resulting in distinctive, high-quality buildings and spaces that provide community with creative living solutions.
With a group of new generation professionals and designers working in an interactive studio, we cultivate designs for our clients with innovations and forefront perspectives.

Edgar first graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1996 and went on to pursue his academic qualification and professional training at The School Of Architecture of The University of Western Australia. After excelling at University and gaining his architectural degree with Honors in 2000, Edgar gained early working experience in Australia. In 2002 He returned to Hong Kong and put his career focus in the China and South-east Asia region. With his overwhelming interest in the design spectrum, Edgar founded the practice ELSE in 2008 and continue to explore on design possibilities and solutions.
Prior to setting up of his own practice, Edgar was the Director of dcmstudios Hong Kong (Former DCM –Denton Corker Marshall) with main responsibilities on China projects including design and project management.
With his exceptional design capability and over 10 years of solid experiences in the region, Edgar is highly capable on delivering architectural and interior projects from inception to completion: Residential, Offices, Retail and Hospitality. His clientele background ranging from local developers in China to international prestigious companies, includes : HSBC (LVMH) Louis Vuitton (LVMH) Berluti (LVMH) Celine Alliance Property HK TianAn Shanghai NingBo Haicheng Investment Co.
